Dr. Lindsay Self, ND. Naturopathic Doctor
I’m a licensed Naturopathic Doctor at Peak Health and Wellness in Brooklin. My approach to healthcare is simple: natural treatments that work toward your goals. I use herbal medicine, targeted nutritional supplements, acupuncture, and Chinese medicine to treat health concerns, and focus on nutrition as the foundation of a healthy life. I develop individualized treatment plans for each person and love working as part of a healthcare team.
A few things about me: I love physiology, running, and tacos. It’s all about balance.
Dr. Carla King, ND
While my focus is in family medicine, I have been trained in naturopathic cancer care, and support patients before, after and during conventional cancer treatments with evidence-based naturopathic medicine. I have a special interest in hormone balance and how that relates to digestion, mood, weight, sleep and fertility, PMS and menopause. I understand the importance of the phrase ‘doctor as teacher’ and strive to inspire others to understand their own body and mind. I believe it is my utmost responsibility as a naturopathic doctor to share my experience and medical knowledge with the community and continue to promote health and wellness in Clarington and the Durham Region.

Dr. Jenna L. McNamee, BHSc., ND.
As a Naturopathic Doctor, I help clients get a grip on their health, feel optimally well and stay well, prevent future diseases and illnesses, create an individualized healthy lifestyle system, and all around feel great. I began down this career path when I saw a big gap in conventional medicine. Clients working solely with their medical doctor were seldom getting the results they wanted. Often, the focus was only on the symptoms and the treatments were limited to pharmaceuticals. The true cause of their ailments was seldom investigated and treated. My clients didn’t want another band-aid solution! They wanted someone to take the time to get to know them – that they are an amazingly unique person who happened to have certain symptoms, not a collection of symptoms that happened to come along with a person. They wanted to learn how to live better, more optimally vital lives through better diet and lifestyle habits. They wanted treatments that were gentle, natural, and most importantly, curative, not palliative, like most pharmaceuticals. Clients turn to their medical doctors for acute health concerns and symptom management, but have no one to turn to for help in managing their health on a day-to-day basis and perhaps even more importantly, preventing the onset of future disease. That’s where I come in.
